In Beaver Scouts, the Mission, Principles and Goals are achieved through the use of a program of understanding, supportive fun. Activities are built around seven Program elements: Games, Crafts, Music, Storytelling, Playacting, Spiritual Fellowship and Outdoors.
The outdoors is an essential part of the Beaver Scout program. Short nature hikes and family outdoor opportunities round out the Beaver Scout experience.
Beaver Scouts meet in a group called a colony. The colony is split into smaller groups called lodges. There is a minimum of one leader for every five Beaver Scouts. Each Beaver Scout learns a promise, law, and motto to help guide their personal development.
Law: A Beaver has fun, works hard and helps family and friends. Promise: I promise to love God and to help take care of the world. Motto: Sharing, Sharing, Sharing. |
